Leaders in innovative horse transport, Equi-Trek launched the Apollo following demand for a great value trailer that combines strength with functionality and puts horse welfare and safety at the forefront of its design.

The eye-catching aerodynamic trailer creates a spacious and light horse area with exceptional headroom to accommodate horses up to 18hh. Horses travel forward facing and are unloaded with ease using the extra wide front ramp.

We have the popular Brian James T Transporter which has been first choice for professional vehicle transport since its introduction.  This trailer comes complete with loading ramps and winch.  If a covered transporter is required we have numerous options for secure car movements, transport logistics and motorsport.

A wide range of general purpose trailers are available including flatbed trailers with drop down/removable sides, tipping trailers and digger plant trailers.  Our general purpose and plant trailers are durable for transportation of diggers, excavators etc.

If camping is more for you, why not hire one of our camping trailers.  Excellent storage option for luggage, tents and camping equipment.  All of our camping trailers have secure, lockable lids for extra security.

Trek-Trailers is the UKs largest stockists of Equi-Trek horseboxes and trailers for hire.  We hire from 1 day to long term hire of any product.  Our hire service is ideal for those who need to collect and/or deliver horses for any reason but do not want the expense of buying and maintaining their own vehicle.

Why not try our popular self- drive Sonic which is easy to drive due to its maximum 3500kg weight and can be driven on a standard car licence.  Two stall horse area, great tack/changing area at the rear with additional storage over the cab.

Wanting an over night stay?  Our 4.5t Victory or 7.5t Endeavour would be ideal.  The Victory has a living area to the rear, totally separate from the horse area with two bunks, toilet compartment, gas hob, sink and fridge.  The larger Endeavour has a fantastic carrying capacity of 2750kg, luxurious living accommodation including 2 double beds, kitchen area, shower cubicle and toilet.

Self-Drive not for you?  Why not hire one of our fantastic trailers.  Full range of Equi-Trek trailers are available whether its the Day-Treka with spacious tack and changing area or the Night-Treka complete with living area including a bench seat which converts into two sleeping bunks, gas hob and wardrobe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a limit on mileage?

Yes, the mileage is restricted to 150 miles per day, however we offer an unlimited mileage package on any vehicle.

Is there a minimum/maximum age for hire?

We require the driver to be over 21 and under 75 years of age with a full valid UK or EU driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.

The Equi-Trek Victory and Endeavour require you to have a licence entitling you to drive up to 7.5 tonnes so you will require C1 on your driving licence, anyone passing their test after 1st Jan 1997 did not automatically receive this entitlement.

What is the deposit required for motorhome hire?

£1,000 deposit – Refundable at the end of hire subject to there being no damage, cleaning or fuel costs.

Can I take my pet in the motorhomes?

Yes, all of our vehicles are pet friendly, approval must be obtained prior to your rental. A service fee will also be charged.

It is your responsibility to ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle, and you will be liable for any damages caused as a result of bringing a pet on board.

You are also responsible for the safe transport of any domestic animals according to local regulations as well as for compliance with any entry restrictions and vaccinations.

What equipment is standard in a motorhome?

All of our motorhomes come complete with a full gas bottle, 240v electricity hook-up cable and water hose.

We also supply  basic kitchenware, i.e, Plates, Cups, Bowls, Beakers, Cutlery, Pans etc.

Can more than one person drive your vehicles?

The quoted prices for insurance on all vehicle hire are for one driver, however we offer an additional driver package at an additional cost.
